  • SOP highlighting general safety practices that should be followed when working in the laboratory areas.

  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health - Guidance for chemical handling, as well as create and review COSHH assessments.

  • Refresher on selection and use of gloves

  • This policy defines the additional requirements for working with biological materials classified as Hazard Group 1 (HG1) at Phillips Medisize UK GID Chippenham that already operate under established EHS policies for chemical (small molecule) work. This policy applies only to aspects that are not already covered by existing chemical safety, COSHH, waste, and incident management procedures.
